Policy and Pie
You're invited to an All-Candidates Meeting aka Policy and Pie with a special focus on agricultural issues. Join us on Thursday, February 20, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Oxford Centre Hall, 505386 Old Stage Rd., Woodstock.
This is your opportunity to meet the candidates, hear their positions on key agricultural topics, and share your concerns and ideas about the future of our farming community. Let's ensure the voices of the agricultural sector are heard loud and clear! We will be serving pie at the end of the evening.

In the Know workshop
The Oxford County Federation of Agriculture (OCFA) in cooperation with OFA and the Oxford County Junior Famers are sponsoring a mental health workshop called ‘In the Know’ on March 19, 2024 at the Mt. Elgin Community Center, Mt. Elgin ON from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The workshop is designed to identify warning signs of stress, depression, anxiety, substance use and suicide; how to start a conversation around mental health; the importance of self-care; awareness of mental health stigma in the agricultural community.
The workshop will be facilitated by Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) staff who have experience in mental health education and workplace wellness.
The OCFA believes this workshop would be of great value to individuals as well as businesses for their employees, providing them with the tools necessary to navigate the complexities of today’s work life.
